24/7 Telehealth
In the event of an injury or acute illness occurring onsite, our telehealth services provide expert remote area medical support and seamless communication and coordination from the place of injury through to clinical handover.
24/7 telehealth provides:
- Fast access to urgent medical advice from qualified emergency physicians, plastics, hand and orthopaedic specialists, occupational physicians and general practitioners
- Instant electronic medical certificates
- Immediate electronic referrals for further treatments and medication scripts
- Organisation of airport transfers for priority access to private hospitals, diagnostic imaging or to RediMed clinics
- Coordination of a complete care pathway with timely and appropriate intervention
Our telehealth service gives you access to our experienced emergency physicians and medical specialists via mobile devices and our emergency phone line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our doctors can give face to face advice to onsite medics and first aid officers and general medical consultations to save the time and cost of employees unnecessarily leaving the worksite for treatment.
For serious injuries and urgent care, our on-call surgeon can triage over the phone and decide what the best course of action should be. If surgery is required, we will liaise with our partnering hospitals to get the injured worker booked in with a RediMed surgeon and can also arrange and coordinate injured workers to be transported off site if necessary.
Poisons Permits
In accordance with the Poisons Act 1964 and Poisons Regulations 1965, we are authorised to hold poison permits to purchase and administer scheduled drugs for workplaces.
We have developed a comprehensive system to ensure the highest standard of documentation and clinical governance for complete reassurance.
Surgical Specialists
Our dedicated emergency physicians, surgical specialists and general practitioners are on-call 24/7 to ensure you are covered for all levels of urgent medical care and support. To provide the highest standards in health care, we employ and partner with Surgeons specialising in plastics, neuro, hand and orthopaedic surgery. With daily operating lists at private hospitals in the Perth metropolitan area, our surgeons can rapidly admit patients and expedite necessary treatment.
We have priority access to Joondalup Health Campus, Hollywood Hospital, Bethesda Hospital and St John of God Hospital, Mt Lawley. We also have relationships with tertiary hospitals throughout Western Australia, allowing priority access to state trauma units and emergency departments.
