Dr. Hanh Nguyen
MBBS, FRACS (Plastic Surgeon)
Dr Nguyen is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Western Australia and has completed advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons in 1999 and went on to complete a Fellowship in Hand Surgery in the United States of America. During this time, he was also the Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery Medical College in Wisconsin.
Dr Nguyen has been involved in a number of research projects in Hand Surgery, Nerve Regeneration and Facial Anatomy. He has extensive experience in the removal or sarcomas, melanomas and other advanced skin cancers. Dr Nguyen has also presented at national and international levels in Hand and Cosmetic Surgery. He currently operates at Hollywood Private Hospital, and Joondalup Health Campus.
Dr. Adrian Brooks
MBBS, FRACS Plastic Surgeon
Dr Adrian Brooks is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He grew up in England and attended the University of Southampton. He has completed all of his post-graduate education in Australia. Dr Brooks has worked in the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and undertook Advanced Surgical Training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Western Australia.
Dr Brooks has extensive experience in all fields of adult Plastic Surgery and undertakes hand surgery, burns surgery, microsurgery, flap reconstruction, cosmetic surgery and has a particular interest in body contouring post weight loss and breast surgery for asymmetry and tuberous breast deformity.
Dr Brooks is a panel member of the West Australian Melanoma Advisory Service and has a keen interest in the management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer including sentinel lymph node biopsy and subsequent completion lymphadenectomy.
Dr Brooks is qualified in the assessment of Permanent Impairment (AMS) and sees Public, Private and Workers Compensation patient .
Dr Brooks operates from Joondalup and Hollywood Private Hospitals.
Dr. Daniel Luo
MBBS, GradDipSurgAnat, FRACS (Plastics) Plastic Surgeon
Having completed his plastic surgery training in Perth and obtained a scholarship from the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Daniel underwent further sub specialisation in facial aesthetic surgery with renowned Melbourne plastic surgeon, Dr Bryan Mendelson. Since then, he has also trained in other prestigious units like Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, Woffles Wu Aesthetic Surgery and Laser Centre (Singapore) and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan).
He has published and presented internationally and was awarded the “Surgeons as Educator” prize by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeon in 2007 as a recognition for his contribution in surgical education. Daniel is passionate about providing the best possible care for his patients. He is able to consult in English and Mandarin. Daniel operates in Hollywood Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus and is able to treat public, private and workers compensation patients.
Dr. Sharon Chu
MBBS, FRACS Plastic Surgeon
Dr Sharon Chu obtained her medical degree from University of Western Australia in 2003 and has completed specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2014 and undertook an 18 month fellowship in Hand, Wrist, Peripheral Nerve and Microsurgery at Royal North Shore Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Dr Chu is an ASSET instructor with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Chu treats all elective and acute conditions of the hand and wrist including hand and carpal fractures, trigger digits and Dupuytren’s disease. Special areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery such as endoscopic carpal tunnel decompression and wrist arthroscopy, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery and upper and lower limb reconstructions. General plastic surgery such as skin cancers and soft tissue reconstruction post oncologic resections also makes up a significant part of her work.
She is able to consult in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She currently operates at Joondalup Hospital and Hollywood Hospital.
