RediMed operates a Poisons Permit Line for companies which is designed to provide qualified medical advice specifically for medication distribution in remote/regional sites where a doctor is not present or unavailable.

We have developed a comprehensive system in accordance with the Poisons Act 1964 and Poisons Regulations 1965 to ensure we are authorised to purchase and administer the required drugs for workplaces and with the highest standard of documentation and clinical governance for complete reassurance.

24/7 Telehealth Services

In the event of an injury or acute illness occurring onsite, RediMed’s telehealth capabilities are highly convenient for a wide range of occupations to provide expert remote area medical consultations for workers from our onboarded customers, who are then able to access telehealth support around the clock. 

Our 24/7 telehealth support includes:

  • Fast access to medical advice from qualified emergency physicians, plastics, hand and orthopaedic specialists, occupational physicians and general practitioners 
  • Instant electronic medical certificates 
  • Immediate electronic referrals for further treatments and medication scripts 
  • Organisation of airport transfers for priority access to private hospitals, diagnostic imaging or to RediMed clinics
  • Coordination of a complete care pathway with timely and appropriate intervention


Our consultations are not just undertaken during business hours, we have a dedicated team available 24/7 via an approved telehealth application platform.

For serious injuries and urgent care, our on-call surgeon can also triage over the phone and decide what the best course of action should be. If surgery is required, we will liaise with our partnering hospitals to get the injured worker booked in with a RediMed surgeon and can also arrange and coordinate injured workers to be transported off site if necessary.

Minor hospital visits can be expensive therefore fast, directed treatment provided remotely can often relieve symptoms and stabilise injuries, buying your people more time to reach a clinical setting which in turn will improve staff morale and potentially reduce long-term health complications.
